A transfer will pick you up at the hotel gates and you will head towards Luxor, collecting tourists from other hotels (the time allocated for collecting the entire group is approximately 1.5 hours). The road to Luxor takes 4.5 hours.
The first stop will be the city of Dendera, located 60 km before reaching Luxor. Travelers flock here to see the Temple of Hathor, the goddess of love. The columns, walls, and ceilings of the temple are lavishly decorated with images of the goddess, and the temple has preserved its vibrant colors in many areas.
The second stop will be the Karnak Temple Complex. The site contains many preserved artifacts, such as the Great Hypostyle Hall, the Sacred Lake, the Sacred Scarab statue, and the Avenue of Sphinxes. A Russian-speaking historical guide will be with you at all times, sharing fascinating and educational insights into ancient Egypt and beyond.
Then, you will have lunch at a national cuisine restaurant right on the banks of the Nile.
The third stop will be at the Colossi of Memnon—the last remnants of what was once the massive Mortuary Temple of Amenhotep III.
The fourth stop will be the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, dedicated to the first and only female Pharaoh. It is located in the Valley of the Dead.
For those interested, an optional Nile boat trip can be organized, including a visit to Banana Island. There, you can stroll through fruit groves, relax, and enjoy fresh seasonal fruits. If you do not wish to take the boat trip, you can spend this time resting in the air-conditioned bus while it transfers from one bank to the other.
