Luxor & The Valley of the Kings

The Valley of the Kings is one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world, located on the West Bank of the Nile in Luxor. It served as the royal burial ground for the Pharaohs of the New Kingdom and contains more than 60 tombs, including the world-famous tomb of King Tutankhamun. The valley is renowned for its stunning wall paintings and hieroglyphics, reflecting the ancient Egyptians’ beliefs about the afterlife and the grandeur of their civilization.

Program

  • Hotel Meeting: Exact time confirmed after booking.

  • Transfer to Luxor: Approximately 4 hours with stops for breakfast, rest, and facilities. Arrival at ~09:00–09:30.

  • Karnak Temple Complex: Explore the Sacred Lake, the Scarab Beetle statue, and the towering obelisks.

  • Nile Crossing: A scenic boat ride across the river.

  • Lunch: A buffet-style meal served on the banks of the Nile.

  • Temple of Queen Hatshepsut: The iconic mortuary temple built into the cliffs.

  • Colossi of Memnon: A stop at the legendary giant statues.

  • Valley of the Kings: A visit to the open royal tombs.

  • Artisanal Visits: A brief stop at an Alabaster factory or Oil factory.

  • Departure: Leave Luxor at ~17:00–17:30, arriving back in Hurghada in the evening.


Don’t forget to take with you:

  • Dry ration/lunch box: (Order at reception the evening before your trip; also request a late dinner for your return).

  • Water and money for personal expenses.

  • Photo of your passport on your phone.

  • Sun protection: Hat and sunglasses.
