A transfer will pick you up at the hotel gates and you will head towards Luxor, collecting tourists from other hotels (the time allocated for collecting the group is approximately 30-60 minutes). The road to Luxor takes 4.5 hours.
The first stop will be the Karnak Temple Complex. This vast site contains many preserved artifacts, including the Great Hypostyle Hall, the Sacred Lake, the Sacred Scarab statue, and the Avenue of Sphinxes. A Russian-speaking historical guide will be with you throughout the day, sharing fascinating and educational insights into ancient Egypt and beyond.
Then, you will enjoy lunch at a national cuisine restaurant right on the banks of the Nile.
The second stop will be at the Colossi of Memnon—the last remains of the once-grandiose Mortuary Temple of Amenhotep III.
The third stop is the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, dedicated to the first and only female Pharaoh, located in the Valley of the Dead.
For those interested, an optional Nile boat trip can be organized, including a visit to Banana Island. There, you can stroll through fruit groves, relax, and enjoy fresh seasonal fruits. If you do not wish to take the boat trip, you can spend this time resting in the air-conditioned bus while it moves between the East and West banks.
The fourth stop will be an Alabaster Factory, where you can see how local souvenirs are crafted and purchase figurines as gifts.
To conclude the program, you will visit the Valley of the Kings. This is the burial site for Pharaohs and high-ranking officials of the New Kingdom; your ticket includes entry to three of the open tombs.
