The bus will pick you up at the hotel gates and you will head towards Cairo, collecting tourists from other hotels (the time allocated for collecting the entire group is approximately 1.5 hours). The road to Cairo takes 7 hours.
The first stop will be a visit to the Giza plateau with the great pyramids and the Sphinx. Near the pyramids, you will be given 40 minutes of free time to walk and take photos.
Then you will be taken to lunch at a national cuisine restaurant on the banks of the Nile. After that, you will take a boat ride on the Nile and see the city from the water.
The second stop will be the old Egyptian National Museum in Tahrir Square. It is the second-largest repository of ancient Egyptian art and household items. It contains more than 160,000 exhibits from all historical periods of ancient Egypt.
The third stop is the old part of the city, specifically the Christian and Islamic districts. You will see the Hanging Church. According to legend, it was built over a grotto where the Virgin Mary lived with the infant Jesus while fleeing from the persecution of King Herod.
